Cruso North Carolina is located in Haywood County and is approximately twelve miles south of Canton and about twelve miles east of Waynesville. This property is nestled in between some the most recognized mountains in the region Cold Mountain, Mount Pisgah and Rocky Face Mountain.
The property is also near the Forest Heritage National Scenic Byway - a 79-mile loop that travels by forested slopes rich in forest history and outstanding scenery. Traversing Pisgah National Forest in Transylvania and Haywood counties via highways US 276, US 64, and NC 215, this byway offers many just-off-the-road scenic and educational attractions covered within this section such as the Cradle of Forestry, Looking Glass Rock, Sliding Rock, and Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education. Much of the byway follows old settlement roads and logging railroads, and many camping and picnic areas off the road were once logging towns, sawmills, or mountain communities.
From Waynesville drive 9.5 miles on 276 S right on Burnette Cove Road drive 1.7 miles right on Dry Branch Trail follow signs to ROW through lots C2 and C3.
