Sugar Bush La Causerie is a fully licensed 80 seat restaurant nestled in a beautiful maple forest and decorated with antiques collected in New Brunswick. Snow mobile and ATV trails pass right through the property and the restaurant and bar are a popular rest stop along the trail. Maple Syrup Bushwith approx. 8000 Maple Trees and approx. 4-5000 can be tapped. There is a sugar shack with an evaporator to produce maple syrup.

It includes a custom built log home, 5 bedrooms and only 8 years old with an open deck which surrounds 3ǚ of the log home a wall to ceiling, huge custom rock built open fireplace, a large kitchen with more than plenty oak cupboards, and enormously large living room, a grandeur dining room with many windows so that you can appreciate the outdoors. The house is one of a kind.

We are located right on NB Snowmobile Trail 34 in Zone 6. Stop by for a great meal and to warm up on the cold winter days and nights. For many years, the Sugar Bush has been a very popular destination for the skidoo enthusiasts from far and wide. Once the snow is sufficient and the trials are groomed, more and more skidoos visit the Sugar Bush, sometimes as many as 200 at a time.

Snow Shoeing and Cross-Country Skiing is also popular. Experience the peace and quiet of our winter wonderland by snow-shoeing or cross-country skiing on our trails. Up to 8 km of trails will lead you through an impressive winter landscape. And on your return to the restaurant, a hot drink and good home-made meal awaits.

During winter months, the Maple Lounge will also be opened for groups if the weather permits. BBQ, hot wine punch from the fire pit and other drinks from the lounge bar will make your stay an extraordinary experience. If you want us to open the Maple Lounge in the winter for a group.

It is fun for the entire family! A tradition since the Sugar Camp was first opened in the early 70's by Old Joe. At the end of every winter, when the days become warmer but the nights are still frosty, it is time for maple syrup on ice. Our maple trees are getting center-drilled and the sap, ascending in the trunk and flowing out from the trees is collected in pails. The sap is then boiled and condensed in our evaporator, and the final product is our excellent maple syrup.

ATV Enthusiasts also visit the Sugar Bush - they belong together like sun and beach for many years. Through the spring, summer and fall, fourwheelers are welcome here. Please join us in the restaurant or lounge and enjoy our cooking and hospitality.

Our facilities are also ideal to hold business or private meetings, parties and events. We are happy to host you for a special occasion at any time. We can host groups as large as 80 people.

La Causerie is located in the region of Kent about 40 minutes away from Moncton, New Brunswick close to many natural attractions of the Province.

From Moncton, follow Highway 11 toward Miramichi until you reach the exit for Bouctouche.
Take Exit 32B onto Rte 515. Follow the route for 10 kM along the river.
Take a left across the bridge (Rte 525). After crossing the bridge take a right.
Follow the road for 2 kM and then take a left onto Sucrerie Road. The entrance to Sugar Bush 'La Causerie' is after 1 kM on your right.
