With over 30 years of experience in the Ag Industry, I have spent most of his life working in and around cattle and farming. I was born in Elkhart, Indiana and graduated high school in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. After graduation, I moved and worked for R+J Ranch in Briggs, Texas, the top Registered Angus herd of the 1980’s. It was at this location that I met and married my wife of 28 years, Leah, a native of Lampasas, Texas. We were blessed with two daughters, Lauren and Arin.

By 1990, I had my first opportunity to fully manage an Angus Herd at 3 Bar D Ranch in Newberry, Florida. In 1992, an opportunity was presented to move back to the mid-west and become a Registered Herd Manager for a start up Angus operation in Iberia, Missouri. This new and upcoming operation was Circle A Ranch where I worked for 25 years.

Initially, my duties were to oversee the Registered Herd and to promote the brand by showing cattle on both the local and national levels. By the fall of 1993, I was promoted to General Manager and hosted their First Production Sale that November. In 1994, I was named “Angus Manager of the Year” by the All-American Angus Breeder’s Futurity.

For the last 24 years, my role was to oversee the day to day operations, the development of all acquired properties and the genetic advances for the expansion and innovation of Circle A Ranches. By 2000, I had helped develop 4 ranch locations from southwest Missouri to southern Iowa with approximately 34,000 acres in total. With this on the job training, I have acquired a “knack” for visualizing a properties' potential and understanding the best applications for that property.

As life brings change, my wife and I decided to get our Missouri Real Estate license. With my years of experience in ranch and land development, I have accrued a mass of knowledge on what to look for in real estate and how it can work for a customer or client’s needs in livestock and/or row crops.

I have always been an outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoy the recreational aspect that the country living affords us in Missouri with its great hunting and fishing.

If I can help you locate a new property or sell your current property, please give me a call at 573-368-6310. I look forward to working with you!
