The Diamond West Processing Facility in Kerman, CA currently processes almonds. The sale includes all sizers, sorters, x-rays and other processing equipment required to operate the facility. Ideally suited and capable of processing both organic and conventional almonds.
Facility Buildings/ Improvements
Facility improvements include a +/-77,056 sq. ft. processing building and a +/-180 sq. ft. pump house, all constructed in 2014.
The processing building features a first-class executive office environment with high-quality finishes and a professional layout suitable for senior leadership and client meetings.
Additionally, the processing building includes a cooled finished goods room, freon cooled large cold storage, and freezer.
The pump building houses the pump, motor and controls for the fire suppression system.

Site improvements include roof mounted solar, an extensive concrete paved parking area and drive lanes, perimeter fencing, a truck scale, a recessed truck loading dock, a stormwater evaporation pond, well, septic system, security system, bin drying system with canopy, fire suppression system with +/-24,000 gallon water storage tank, trash bin enclosure and landscaping.
Processing Lines
Sizing Line: Includes a bin dumper, four Deamco bucket elevators, Surge hoppers, conveyor feeders, Satake sorter, vibratory conveyors, two LMC sizing shakers, surge hoppers, pac hoppers and a nut filler, aspirator, nut bin enclosure, air lock, fans, ducting and control panel.
Precleaning Line: Includes a bin dumper, bucket elevators, Surge hopper, conveyor feeders, Sortex F sorter, vibratory conveyors, vibratory sifter/scalper, nut bin enclosure, air lock, fans, ducting and control panel.
Mechanical Sorting Line: Includes the bin dump system, Deamco bucket elevators, vibratory conveyor, vibratory sifter/scalper, vibratory feeders, three dual surge hoppers, six vibratory syntron feeders, magnet, metal detector, triple pac hopper system six cascade inspection belts, Buhler Sortex A3 Multivision Optical Sorter, Satake Evolution Color Sorting Machine, control panels, aspirator, nut bin enclosure, air lock, fans, and ducting.
Hand Sorting Lines: Includes a bin dumper, receiving hopper, six hand sorting tables, moisture machine, and an RMC bucket elevator with distribution to a bulk fill/box lines.
Packing Equipment: Includes a Thermo Ramsey X-Ray machine, YWD Case Erector/Closer/Conveyor, EcoCube 25/50 Econo-cube carton fill system, scales, conveyors, palletizer and stretch wrap machines. Product is packaged in 25 pound boxes, 50 pound boxes or 2,000 pound supersacs or bins.
Additional equipment includes a bin drying system, air compressor, forklifts, approximately +/-9,700, one (1) cubic yard bins for storing and transporting almonds, new computer network, new computers, and ALMADS inventory/sales tracking software. Three current staff members available to support future operations.
Water
Water for domestic and facility uses are provided by a private well. Sewage disposal is provided by a private septic system.
Groundwater Disclosure
Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) requires groundwater basins to be sustainable by 2040. SGMA may limit ground water pumping. For more information, please visit the SGMA website.
