This incredible building was built approximately in 1937 for the Citizens State Bank after the previous bank burned. The Bank operated out of this location until moving to its new facility in the mid 1970s. At that time there were 6 Doctors offices operating out of the second floor of the bank. That area has been vacant for years, but the charm of the architecture remains. The main floor bank offices are very similar to when it was a bank, with the marble floors and wainscott, the teller areas and safes are still in place. The City has spent thousands of dollars maintaining the building, including newer roof, all new custom built windows to maintain the original style, newer electrical, and the building was recently re-tuck pointed too and shows in its pristine condition. The options are countless with what you can do with this property.
