Sugar Creek Ranch is a high-fenced hunting ranch located seven miles north of Big Wells, with one mile of frontage on FM 1867. A paved road leads from the highway to the headquarters. Improvements at the headquarters include two manufactured homes and two well-made barns. The ranch has a set of pipe cattle pens and a good road system.
The habitat is very good deer country. Approximately 90% of the ranch is native south Texas brush. A wide creek bottom runs north to south through the ranch. Topography is rolling with the higher ground on the east and west. The eastern portion of the ranch has red sand, and the western part more of a clay loam. The major creek drainage could provide a good location for a lake.
