Due West, SC (Abbeville County)

Hogskin Creek Tract is a diverse forested property in a clean, quiet rural setting. About 80 acres of broad uplands are covered in loblolly pine now about 24 years old. About 17 acres of old hardwood mixed with large pines stand at the northern end. Hogskin Creek forms part of the western boundary and another perennial stream flows through the tract to meet it. On the south side, another small creek flows along the line. Yellow poplars, oaks and other hardwoods line the creek banks. A beaver swamp fills a broad bottom where the two main creeks meet.

Martin Road is a small, paved road that crosses the southern end of the tract for a distance of over a quarter mile. About 15 acres lie south the road. The land would lend itself to a variety of uses with gently rolling ridges extending far back into the property. Much of the tract is classified as USDA prime farmland.
