This farm is well located 3 miles east of the Republic/Washington County line on Highway K-148, then 1 mile south. This is the southwest corner of the place, at the intersection of Concord and 9th Roads.
This farm, 160 acres, more or less, consists of 2 cropland fields of 48.97 acres and 65.16 acres, for a total of 114.13 acres cropland, 39.51 acres native grass pasture, and 1 acre waterways. This farm, 120 acres, more or less, consists of 92.5 acres cropland in 4 fields, with the rest of the farm being waterways, a small pasture, and the old farmstead. This is also a productive, well located farm with all gently sloping Crete soils. There are 48 acres of wheat planted.
The FSA bases and yields are 50.3 acres wheat, 35 bushels; 12 acres corn, 65 bushels; 9.9 acres milo, 56 bushels; 19.4 acres soybeans, 24 bushels. The 2010 taxes were $791.12.
