The desire of the couple who were to have Glenco Mills Farm built, was to have a home with little visual impact on the gorgeous Hudson Valley countryside as possible and to ensure a level of privacy for them and their family of young children. Working with the celebrated architect Thomas Phifer, and landscape designer Dan Kiley, they created what is an award-winning house of glass, steel and wood the structure of which blends perfectly into the rolling hills and woodlands of this stunningly beautiful area, near the town of Hudson. Featured in Architectural Record, Elle Dcor and many others. As you approach the house, it emerges from the landscape as what seems to be a Modernist glass villa hovering serenely in the landscape. Then the lower level appears, a fascia of glass-walled rooms. The upper level is a 30 x 60 ft glass walled living and dining room with 15 ft ceilings. The lower level houses the bedrooms (6) vast kitchen, indoor lap pool, cinema room and much much more.
