Mulberry Land Company was retained by a prominent university in Atlanta to facilitate the disposition of two real estate assets that were gifted to the school by an alumni. The properties included a single-family home and a 13-acre lot on Lake Tobesofkee, just outside Macon. MLC was able to secure a qualified buyer, local to Macon, to purchase both assets prior to going to market. The transaction was all-cash and closed in ten days. This win-win scenario allowed the university to liquidate unneeded assets and use the proceeds to more directly impact and further their mission.
