The Emma Harden tract is offered on a sealed bid sale with a sale date of September 18, 2009. The timber on the tract consists primarily of an upland stand of naturally regenerated pine, which is estimated to have an effective age of about 15 years. The over story pine sawtimber trees were removed several years ago leaving a well stocked stand of natural regeneration that has now
advanced in age and is growing nicely. It is reasonable to expect that a first thinning operation may
be possible in the next several years with subsequent growth into a high value pine sawtimber stand.
This natural pine stand is well stocked across most of the property and offers good long term growth

hardwood pulpwood and regeneration.

The tract is accessed on the southern boundary line by Webster Road and has a good network of
internal woods roads and trails through the property. There are several open areas which have been
used for hunting locations, including some larger areas that were old logging sets. The combination
of the natural pine timber, hardwood creek bottoms, good network of trails, open food plot areas and
close proximity to town make this a great hunting and recreation property that offers timber
investment opportunities for the owner.
The current timber stand has good potential, with proper thinning and management, to develop into a nice pine
sawtimber stand offering long term good income opportunities.
