DESCRIPTION
Idyllic 17 +/- acre country farm on the headwaters of Indian Creek. The 5 bedroom farmhouse has plenty of living space indoors and out, including two covered porches. The property has about 9 acres in pasture and fields with the remainder in mountain woodlands. The charming farmhouse sits on a knoll surrounded by trees overlooking much of the farm and Indian Creek whose gentle waters meander through the property between the woodlands and fields. Two porch-swings are perfect for relaxing after a long day or listening to the raindrops on the metal roof during a thunderstorm.

Two old barns painted in the classic barn red provide additional storage including a hayloft and place to park a tractor. The interior of one of the barns is composed on hand-hewn logs which date back to the turn of the century if not earlier. A two-car detached garage has space for plenty of storage or a workshop.
The woodland is north-facing and its steep slopes are filled with delicate flowers like the red trillium and a bountiful selection of wild onion, locally known as ramps. From the top one has sweeping views of the property and up the valley.
The fields are currently kept in hay and put into bales throughout the growing season. Some fencing is in place and sections could be easily completed for keeping in livestock and other farm animals.
Indian Creek flows on the back side of the fields at the base of the woodlands and is a favorite watering site for the local wildlife.
