There is a good internal road system throughout the property where access is via a locked gate. There are also several other secondary trails that connect to the main roads and access the core of the tract. The diversity of the land is quite unique with a large canopy of beautiful, mature hardwoods and mixed timber that cover most of the fairly flat terrain. Some of the bottom land has palmetto swamp cover with numerous mast producing trees. There are four strategically placed food plots located on the tract that offer great hunting for deer and provide excellent food and strut zones for turkey. Low impact hunting has been applied on the property resulting in several mature bucks frequenting the property every year. The duck swamp located in the south central area of the tract helps to insulate the core area of the property with bedding and cover in the palmetto swamp along the edges. The duck swamp also provides good waterfowl hunting with an area large enough to hold a larger variety of ducks migrating from the flyway of the creek. Turkey hunting on the property is also outstanding with several mature gobblers and large flocks of hens on game cameras. The excellent hunting as well as close proximity to Montgomery and Pike Road make this tract a truly special property that offers about everything that the serious sportsman could ask for.
