The ranch has been awarded the statewide Lone Star Land Steward Award, and the Aldo Leopold Conservation Award for Texas, the State's top honor recognizing wildlife conservation on private land. All interior fences are either new or rebuilt. The ranch has miles of fast line which distributes water to troughs all over the ranch.
