Mulgahatchee Plantation is a hunting and timber property located in south central Georgia. This extraordinary property has over two miles of waterfront on the Ocmulgee River and a creek runs through it. In Hitchiti Indian language Okmulgee means “where the water boils up” and it was generally thought this referred to the many springs in the area. The land is characterized by an almost primeval beauty. There are 1600 acres in upland pine timber, 650 acres in giant hardwood forest, a lake, duck ponds, and game plots. The plantations’ diverse habitat supports an enormous game and wildlife population.
Sellers will consider a division of the property into two tracts of approximately 950 acres on the south and 1300 acres on the north with river frontage.
