The Home Place ( +/- 200 acres) consists of an excellent combination of 80-90 acres of improved Klein/coastal pastures, approx. 60 acres of native grass and brush, 8-9 acres of cultivation and approx. 44 acres of coastal bermudagrass hay fields. These pastures have 6 good stock ponds and a small set of pipe working pens. The Home Place is fenced into 4 pastures of 40 plus acres and several small traps around the headquarters compound, making rotational grazing very feasible. With fertilizer and rainfall, coastal hay fields in this area are capable of producing 2-3 tons per acre annually.
