This well managed tract is located near Kentucky Lake and joins TVA property. With some tree removal, there may be good views of the lake. The tract supports both upland hardwoods and merchantable loblolly pine which was thinned in 2006. Forest management notes: In general, this tract includes two ages of pine plantation. The older stands include about 55 acres and are on the south side of the tract. These were thinned in 2006 and are now about 25 years old. The younger blocks are to the north and east of the woods road going through the middle of the tract.
These are approaching thinning age. Some scattered hardwood is in creek side buffers across the property. One hollow on the western side of the tract has some good white oak saw timber. An excellent all weather interior road makes this a great timber investment. Go to the Woltz website for additional photos and property details.
