This wooded tract is a court ordered estate sale near Monticello. It is split by Aucilla Road which is paved. Most of it is in natural growth hardwood timber with around half in wetlands. The property appears to have had much of its merchantable timber harvested over a period of years and a good amount of the tract now appears to be in natural re-growth and though scarce, there is still scattered mature timber throughout. Currently it would be a very good hunting tract. It would be a good candidate to clear and put in pasture or planted pines. There is a portion of the subject in the SW1/4 of Sec 17 containing approximately 38 acres that is detached from the main parcel and does not appear to have legal access. 43.73 acres (where the current improvements exist) of the original 306.16 acre property have been cut out and not for sale leaving 262.43 acres for sale.
