Fairforest Tract is productive timberland with big creeks diverse wildlife habitat. The property has about 100 acres of 2015 planted pine, and just under 100 acres of 2000 planted pine with second thinning completed recently. There are 75 acres of hardwood, mostly in creek bottoms with large yellow poplars, green ash, and maples.
