It is easily accessible from Columbus, Texas by way of Interstate 10 to Columbus, then south on highway 71 for 10 miles to Altair, then west on highway 90 for 7 miles to Rock Island. At Rock Island go north and west on paved County Road 106 for 1.2 miles, then right on County Road 106C for mile to the ranch.

From Houston the ranch can also be accessed via Highway 90 west or by way of Highway 59 south to El Campo, then north on Highway 71 to Altair. Rock Island is approximately 22 miles east of Hallettsville, Texas on Highway 90.
