Property Summary:
East Buck Creek Ranch is conveniently located about 11 miles east of Ada, OK and only one mile from paved Stonewall Rd. Along the gravel road that leads to the front gate are several very nice homes on acreages. The front gate is located in the NW corner of the property. There are NO roads that border the property and it is positioned in the middle of about 4,000 acres that are mostly wooded. Other than the entrance road into the ranch the closest roads are 1/2 mile to the east of the east boundary, 1 mile south of the south boundary and 2.5 miles west of the west boundary. Access throughout the property can be gained utilizing a network of roads and trails that have been tied together creating several different loops. From west to east the terrain transitions from rolling Oak covered hills with large rocky outcroppings to flat bottom land along Buck Creek, then back to more rolling hills on the far eastern boundary. Due to the mix of terrain and change in elevation there are numerous travel cooridores for deer throughout the ranch. The diversity in plantlife provides excellent browse to hold and sustain deer and turkey year round. The creek flows into a watershed beyond the south boundary and I believe there may an opportunity to catch spawning crappie in the spring and possibly some other fish in the deeper channel near the south boundary. There are also some very favorable areas to take advantage of the terrain and build some nice ponds. About 250 yards into the property from the north entrance is a nice flat area that would be perfect for building a cabin. Depending on where a cabin was constructed it could also overlook one of the favorable pond locations I mentioned. If you are looking for a place to live this could be a secluded and private property only minutes from all the necessities of modern life in Ada. Its also an easy drive from any of the major cities in OK or TX. The fact that its only 1 mile off pavement will cut travel time considerably. As you can see from the pictures that have been captured on the trail cams there are numerous quility bucks as well as some solid up and coming young bucks. This would make a great place to spend time with your family and friends while enjoying a truly beautiful property. If you're not from the area, Ada is a very nice town with all the luxuries of a large city. A run into town for supplies at Wal-Mart, the John Deere dealership, or a hardware store are just minutes away. Restaurants to name a few include Chilie's, Rib Crib, and Pizza Hut. When you're considering a getaway from home the convenience to a town like this adds value in time saved or in added enjoyment to the property because it just makes life easier when you need to "run to town".
