Slade was raised in Butler, AL where he and his family own/manage thousands of acres for timber and hunting in Choctaw County and Sumter County. Slade studied marketing, management, and sales in undergrad at The University of Alabama and then went on to complete a MBA in strategy, entrepreneurship, and consulting. He currently resides in Tuscaloosa, AL and is an avid outdoorsman. He also owns several businesses in the Outdoor Industry, one of which is a global trading platform primarily for hunting and fishing trips called Trips4Trade.com.
