The main horse facilities were added in 2006 and are currently utilized as a world-class reining horse operation. The 40’ x 130’ show barn is fully insulated, with 12 stalls, each with automatic waterer, a drop down stall door and a rear window for ventilation. There is a wide center aisle, two wash racks, tack room, feed room, half bath plus an office with full bath. Nearby is a 125’ x 250’ covered arena with lights, wind screens, PA system and bleachers. Just off the covered arena is a 125’ x 250’ slide track. Both it and the covered arena have a custom riding surface designed to support the demands of today’s reining horse. There’s also a 60-foot covered round pen, hot walker, a hay/equipment barn, 5 fenced turn-out lots, a 4-stall shed row barn and several large pastures with loafing sheds. There’s also the original pole barn at the back of the property with 6 oversized stalls. Most of the horse facility can be monitored by a linked camera system, so you can always keep an eye on things, whether you’re sitting in the office waiting on a mare to foal or you’re 1,000 miles away on vacation, where all you’ll need is an internet connection. Also added in 2006 was a very nice duplex with matching 1,100 square foot 3 bedroom/2 bath apartments with full kitchen and dinette, which are perfect for resident trainers or guests.
