According to the local Farm Service Agency, this farm contains 38.2 cropland acres and the predominant soil types are Whitaker silt loam, Ockley loam, and Rensselaer silty clay loam The topography ranges from nearly level to gently sloping and the real estate taxes paid in 2021 were $1,143.14.
The 3:00 PM auction will be held at the the Hampton Inn in Edinburgh and bidding will be on a dollars per acre basis. Bidding will not be conditional on financing and possession of the land will be given at closing.
