This parcel is in North-Western Marquette County, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The Mulligan Creek, which starts high up in the wetlands near the McCormick Tract, tumbles down for miles through rugged hills onto the Mulligan Plains, and then flows another 5-miles along a 100-200 foot tall rocky escarpment before it empties into the Dead River. The creek passes through this parcel which is very near a Historic Fish-Stocking Site. This area is a primary moose range, so sightings are very possible. The parcel is also adjacent to thousands of acres of Corporate CFA land which has many lakes and streams for hunting and fishing opportunities.
