This tract has excellent hunting. It is surrounded by big woods for quality wildlife habitat.
The timber was cut in 2000. There is good pine regeneration along with hardwoods that were not cut. A small creek runs through the property along the west boundary. There is a nice network of roads to facilitate access and provide shooting lanes.
The property lies a couple miles south of the Beekman Oil & Gas Field in north Morehouse Parish. It is accessed by gravel timber company roads.

Read MoreTake hwy. 425 north out of Bastrop. Take Crossett Road (hwy 142) at the fork. Go approximately .5 miles to White Oak Road to the west (left). It is the first gravel road to the left after the you take the Crossett Road turn at the fork. Go approximately 2.1 miles to access road on the right (north). You'll see 2 train car beds on the side of the road. This is where the access road is. Travel north on the access road approximately 200 yards to the property line. There is a cabin at this point that is on the property but does not convey. This is the south boundary of the property.
