This premier hunting tract and an very good timber growing property is located in east Wilcox County near the old community of Allenton. Allenton was the largest town in Wilcox County in 1846, but now has less than 30 residents. The subject property lies north of County Highway 24 as noted on the enclosed maps. The main entrance is near the west side, and an excellent internal road system provides easy access to all parts of the property. It features multiple game plots, most of which are several acres in size. Three of the larger plots have been planted for the current hunting season. Custom made shooting houses are installed at each plot, and also placed strategically along the power line that runs southeast to northwest through the property. This power line provides some of the best deer hunting to be found anywhere. The property has been managed for many years for trophy whitetails, and you will not find a better deer hunting tract anywhere in Alabama. This tract also features a large population of wild turkey.

The tract consists of large areas of natural pine and hardwood timber, plus loblolly pine plantations of different ages. The older plantations are ready for a first thinning at this time. The central prairie area is an excellent site for a large dove field.
