Leopold Stokowski once owned the property, a British Conductor known for his appearance in Fantasia and his long association with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He was married to Gloria Vanderbilt from 1945 to 1955.*The central part of the 1850's structure comprises the central structure of the house and has been essentially left alone. However, in 2002 a Master wing of approximately 944 square feet was added. Additional touches include hand hewn Chestnut floorboards secured with vintage nails throughout the bedroom area, fire-slate floors in the bathroom and beautiful walk in shower with flip down teak bench and soaking tub.*The Kitchen Wing of approximately 824 square feet was added on in 2008 and includes a magnificent vaulted ceiling sun room of 250 Square feet with views of the hills in the distance.
