Every piece of real estate is unique, but this one, as odd as it sounds, is very unique. The Dos Pueblos Ranch is one of the most famous properties along the Santa Barbara Coast. In fact, it was one of the first areas in California to be visited by Europeans back in 1542. Back then there were two little towns populated by Native Americans, one on each side of a creek where it met the pacific. That was the origin of the name "Dos Pueblos (two villages)," and it has stuck to this day.

Over time, the ranch had many owners and residents, some famous, others not so famous. In 1943 the entire ranch was purchased by Samuel Mosher, a wealthy businessman who had a passion for farming, and in particular, flowers.
