Upper Peninsula Private Lake Lodge. Magnificent Spring Lake is totally private and is entirely within the 160 acres of mostly upland mixed hardwoods. It is a spring fed lake of nearly 40 acres with depths to 45 feet and an outlet stream to Sundog Lake. The lake has a history of large, planted brook trout but naturally is a bass/pan fish complex and could easily be managed for either or both. The water is crystal clear with a hard bottom making for excellent swimming as well as fishing. Scenic views from the lakeshore are of the island and the ridges of beautiful forest land. This land also provides good hunting for all native game species. Wildlife is abundant and you will view loons and eagles frequently. The property has insurable access and though this road system is not plowed by the county, it has been habited year round for several years with private plowing. There is line electric to the buildings. Consisting of a large lodge, a guest home, a garage and sauna the dwellings are a valuable bonus to the heralded private lake.
