As always, I tell you about the negatives. Obviously, there isn't much. At 3,200 feet you are going to get the occasional snow in winter, 4 to 6 inches isn't unusual. But, you will also enjoy cooler temps in the summer and winter wonderland views are pretty awesome. Location is at the eastern portion of Squaw Valley so commute time to the valley is a bit longer. The land has a dense coverage of live oak trees so there isn't a ton of useable space. But, the owners have been steadily clearing and there are some nice areas. Plus, the live oak is the best of the firewood.

You won't find a more complete or well designed setup anywhere on the mountain or one that offers greater serenity. If you always wanted a rural lifestyle but weren't that handy, not to worry... virtually everything has been done.
