Quail Creek farm was created in 1986 by Mr. Edwin Dodd who was CEO and president of Owens-Illinois Inc. Mr. Dodd's vision for Quail Creek Farm resulted in a one of a kind country estate surrounded by an exceptionally beautiful pastoral setting.

Manor House

On approaching the manor house one can only be impressed with this stately structure and its surrounding grounds. As you enter the home the quality of construction and attention to detail are immediately obvious. The original home was constructed in the 1850's. In 1986, a modern addition that replicates the historic features of the original home was added. This home has over 13,000 square feet of heated living space featuring 10 bedrooms, 11 full baths, 4 half baths, sauna, elevator, 3 kitchens, dining areas, libraries, 10 working fireplaces and many more features too numerous to mention. Currently used as corporate office space, the home is well suited for a private residence, corporate center, retreat facility, lodge, equestrian center or a variety of other potential uses. Pool and Pool House

The Potomac River

The estate has access to the boat launch and boat slip area of The Crossings Development which is directly adjacent to the estate. From here there are 9 miles of navigable deep water on a beautiful stretch of the Potomac River. Directly across the river is the historic C&O Canal.
