Lang Ranch is a 6000+/- ranch located 21 miles SE of Sonora,Texas on Bond Road." SCR 320 bisects it with approximately 3000 acres on the north side of the road and 3000 acres on the south side of the road. Elevations range from 2300 feet to 2150 feet composed of oak savannahs and mesquite flats with Bull Hollow Draw transversing the ranch in a SW to NE direction. The ranch had previously been utilized as an angora/cattle operation, but in recent years been cattle and hunting oriented. (Hunting income is currently $60,000/year.) Improvements include a 4900 sq. ft. 3 bedroom/4 bath ranch headquarters built by historic Sutton County Ranch pioneers Joseph and Mabel Vanderstucken, which is constructed of native stone and stucco in the 1920s and remodeled with an addition added in the late 1990s.
