Location: The property is located in the extreme northern portion of Cumberland County, Kentucky, near the southern border of Adair County. This tract is reached by driving on gravel roads approximately 1.5 miles to the east from KY 61 (Burkesville Columbia Road). Access to this and any adjoining parcels is protected by a locked gate at what used to be the 1,000-acre hunting club entrance. The town of Columbia, Kentucky, with many stores and amenities, is located just 12 miles to the north.
Water: This property is bounded on three sides by creeks, the largest creek is the West Fork of Crocus Creek and it runs along the complete eastern border of the property. The complete southern boundary also includes a creek.

Terrain: The topography is ridges and hollows. The southern portion of the property is not as steep as the northern part.
Hunting and Wildlife: For many years this tract was part of a 1,000 acre hunting club, and only in 2019 was it divided into smaller tracts and sold. In addition to large whitetail deer and some of the largest turkeys ever seen by owners of the properties, they have seen or captured on game cameras black bear and bobcats.
Remote: This property is the last tract, at the roads end, at the extreme eastern part of the 1,000 acre hunting property. Some owners of the adjoining tracts have brought in a pre-built cabin or camping trailers. However, the adjoining tracts are generally only visited during hunting season. Otherwise, it appears that no one is usually using any of the adjoining tracts throughout the year, except during hunting seasons.
Recreational Lakes: In adjoining counties, many fishing and recreational lakes and rivers can be easily reached. Examples are: Green River Lake, Dale Hollow Lake, Barren River Lake, Cumberland Lake and River, and Nolin Lake.
