This property is situated approximately 5 miles east of Lipscomb, Texas, the county seat of Lipscomb County which was established in the early 1900s in anticipation of the building of a railroad through the town.

Due to the railroad being built south of Lipscomb, the town now only has the county courthouse, a post office and a museum. With a 2010 population of just 37, Lipscomb is sparsely populated by local families and a few others who have moved to Lipscomb due to its quietness and beauty.

Lipscomb is located just south of Wolf Creek in a beautiful area with large trees and grass and is on Hwy 305 which runs north and south through the town. Wolf Creek is large enough to be called a river in other areas of the country and provides quite a break in the topography of the area with large trees along its banks and running water which is a rarity in most of the Texas Panhandle.

Wolf Creek runs through this secluded section of land creating great hunting, fishing and other recreation.
