This scenic Tallgrass Prairie ranch is complimented by improved grass pastures of Bermuda, fescue, clover and annual ryegrass. The ranch currently has an estimated 600 +/- acres of improved forage pastures and the balance of 6578 +/- acres of native Tallgrass Prairie offers a highly productive and efficient grazing operation. The well planned cross fencing and alleyways allow movement of cattle from anywhere on the ranch . The headquarters receiving and shipping corral system is surrounded by eighteen watered improved grass traps of 8 to 20 acres. This provides a high degree of efficiency and flexibility for a cow/calf or stocker operator. Additionally, there are four sets of steel corrals strategically located throughout the ranch to process and ship cattle. The small amount of timber scattered throughout the ranch contributes to the abundant wildlife population. The north end of the ranch adjoins Dripping Springs Lake Wildlife Refuge and accentuates the management of the quail, deer and waterfowl on the ranch.
