This good irrigated farm has 3 center-pivot sprinkler irrigation systems that water a total of 472 acres. One sprinkler is approximately 2205 in length covering 350 acres and is nozzled for 750 GPM. It is an early 80s Zimmatic with standard tires and long drops on 80 spacing. Two of the sprinklers are approximately 1125 in length each covering 91 acres with standard tires and drops on 10 spacing with i-Wob emitters. These two sprinklers are late 80s Zimmatics each nozzled for 400 GPM and each overlap the larger sprinkler by about 30 acres. There are 7 wells approximately 200 deep with submersible electric motors and pumps connected to the pivots with 8 and 12 underground PVC pipe. The seven wells will run the large pivot by itself or they will run the two smaller pivots at one time.

An 84.6 acre tract that connects this property to the New Mexico state line and provides approximately 1.25 miles frontage on FM 769 was purchased later and is not yet reflected in the FSA maps and information (the information on the 84.6 acre tract will be provided upon our receipt from the FSA office).

This farm is relatively flat with mostly loamy fine sand soil that is well suited for both cotton and peanuts. The farm is currently rented on a crop-share basis by an excellent farmer who would like to continue to operate the farm.
