Clover Creek runs through the north end of the property and Basin Hollow Creek through the center. The Go Away Ranch has documented water rights out if the Bassett Ditch, which is diverted from Old Cow Creek. There is also a state of the art well water system recently installed on the property providing plenty of water to the Ranch. The entire property has a fenced perimeter defining the property lines. The Ranch can run an average of 30 pair during the summer grazing and 60 pair during the winter. The bull barn, corrals, shop and livestock facilities have been designed for streamlined efficiency and have been maintained well. The hay barn was constructed with forming lumber and tunnel support beams used to build Shasta Dam.

The second and third homes are on the south side of Whitmore Road. The Craftsman has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and is approximately 2,100 sq. ft. in size. It has also been extensively remodeled with new kitchen, cabinets, bathrooms, flooring, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. The third home is a manufactured home. It was remodeled 5 years ago with a new kitchen, HVAC, and bathrooms.

Recreation on the property consists of hunting for black-tailed deer, pigs, wild turkeys and predators. The Go Away Ranch is conveniently located only 15 minutes from Palo Cedro and 25 minutes from downtown Redding and the Redding airport. These towns provide plenty of amenities for shopping, schools, healthcare and other services. The Ranch is in close proximity to Lake Shasta, Mt. Lassen and the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
