Description:
The Flying F Ranch is a highly improved game and recreational ranch located approximately 5 miles from Uvalde. The ranch has been under intense game management for the past 12 years and has an exceptional whitetail deer herd in place. The entire property is enclosed with over 7 miles of 8 foot high fencing. Approximately 170+/- acres of the ranch immediately in front of the Lodge and ranch headquarters is an irrigated food plot used to enhance the game carrying capacity on the ranch.
Most of the ranch is comprised of rolling guajilla and black brush covered hills with large mesquite trees in the bottom of draws and drainage ways.
Wildlife:
There are 6 deer breeding pens near the ranch headquarters. Grain crops are planted in the spring for dove and quail. The Flying F has some of the best white wing and mourning dove hunting in Uvalde County.

A 1,500+/- gpm irrigation well is used to pump water to an irrigation pivot located at the center of the 170 acre food plot to provide year round irrigation. Underground piping has been installed to provide water for 2 large recreational tanks providing a constant water level for recreation or fishing. There are two additional wells that provide water for the Lodge, other ranch headquarter improvements, lawn irrigation system, and underground piping throughout the ranch for watering troughs for the deer and other game.
Improvements:
Improvements on the ranch include a 4,600+/- square foot lodge with a large stone porch with a wood trussed patio cover overlooking the nice food plot. The ranch has an extensive road system which allows for all weather access throughout the ranch.
