This excellent bow hunting tract is located one-half mile off of Hwy. 97, three miles north of Highland Home and 30 miles south of Montgomery. The property fronts on Rocky Mount Road with water and power along the road. Most of the property has a good stand of natural hardwood and pine timber. The timber looks good especially the hardwoods. A majority of the hardwood trees are oaks with white oaks being the predominant species. There are numerous areas around the tract that would be ideal for bow hunting. There are also three open areas that are used for game plots. Two of these plots have nice elevated shooting houses and one has a ladder stand. The owner has recently had extensive road work done to improve the existing interior roads and make some new roads to provide access to the entire tract. There is a nice spring fed stream on the west side and a small creek on the east side. About twenty acres across the creek was cut several years ago. This cutover regrowth provides a great bedding area for the deer. The property is surrounded by woods and game signs are everywhere. There is an open area near the road that would make a great campsite.
