First time offering of this ranch that has been under the same family ownership for over seventy years. The ranch is located approximately fifteen miles east of Corona, NM along and on both sides of State Highway 247, comprised of 15,744 total acres with 11,889 deeded, and the balance state and federal lease land.The headquarters is located approximately three-quarters of a mile south of the highway with good access. Improvements include two residences, barns and corrals. A set of shipping pens, complete with loading chute and scales is located on the north side of Highway 247 with good access. The ranch is partitioned into ten pastures and several smaller pastures and trap. Livestock and domestic water is provided by five wells with several miles of buried pipeline. The topography varies from nearly level and gently rolling in the northeast area of the ranch to steeper sloping hills and canyons on the west end of the ranch. The Gallo Draw and North Canyon Draw are the two primary wet weather drainages that traverse the ranch. Drainage is typically from west to east with the draws providing overflow areas and natural water holes that benefit livestock and wildlife. The ranch has excellent mule deer habitat. The primary vegetation includes several varieties of drama grass, three awns, galena and New Mexico feather grass. The grazing capacity is owner controlled estimated to be 320 Animal Units on a yearlong basis.
