The current owners parents acquired the property in 1972 and the reservation of the mineral rights in 1925 is mentioned in the 1972 deed. The parents transferred to the property to current owner is 2013 and mineral rights reservation is again mentioned. The heirs of the 1925 owner are unknown.

This property is located 10 miles northwest of the intersection of Interstate 77 and 81 near Max Meadows, VA. Directions: From I-81 exit # 80 at Fort Chiswell, follow route 121 north to Max Meadows, turn right on route 610 (Peppers Ferry Road) for .5 miles, turn left on route 712 (Millers Creek Road) and go 5.6 miles to blue metal gate on left. The gravel road behind the locked gate is a private ROW that leads west for about 1500 feet to the east boundary of the tract. The second gate is west end of the 48 acres. Look for Advance Land and Timber signs.
