Research Parcel InformationFrom the town of San Luis, CO, drive south on highway 159 aproximately 5 miles to the 12 mile marker, directly across from the Sanchez Stabilization Reservoir Recreation Area. Turn left (east), onto the dirt road, following the power poles, heading towards the large radio tower. Coontinue east for approx. 0.6 miles to the first right turn (towards the tower). Follow that road past the tower for approx. 2 miles to the top of the Mesa. At the top of the mesa, make a slight left and continue approx. 0.3 miles to Mesa Drive West. Turn right and head south on Mesa Drive West approx. 3.5 miles to the property, on the right (west) side of the road. This route is very easy for any vehicle.
NOTE: Google Maps or your GPS may take you farther south on highway 159 to the 5 mile marker, and then have you turn east. There are signs in that area for Elk Park Ranch or Melby Ranch. DO NOT GO THIS WAY WITHOUT 4X4! It is a VERY BAD ROAD!
