The hay is harvested off the pastures in the late spring and stored in the hay barn. Hay production in 2016 was reported at 322 bales at 1,300 pounds each. The estimated annual hay production on the subject property is 200 tons, or approximately two tons per acre. The property consists of four main pastures and one smaller pasture located near Cow Creek. The livestock are typically rotated around the pastures.
