Dogtooth Ranch is located on a quiet and secluded mountain plateau with spectacular views of the Snake River Valley. The property has tremendous views of the Big Hole Mountains and Caribou Mountain Range. It is bordered on the north, south, and west by the Tex Creek Wildlife Management Area. It is one fourth mile east of the Willow Creek arm of the Ririe Reservoir. Meadow Creek is close on the north and east side of the property. There is approximately 988 acres of breathtaking grassy meadows, wildflower covered hillsides, and quaken aspen, cedar, and pine groves. On-site spring water attracts summertime deer, moose, occasional elk, and prey animals. The mountain location of the ranch encourages moisture laden clouds to give good rain to the property. It is the home of many species of game birds and other birds. There are many birds of prey that frequently use the area. It is also the winter range of large herds of elk and deer. It has many recreational, range land, and dry farm opportunities. The property has division rights for up to 20 parcels of various sizes. Dogtooth Ranch is located approximately 20 minutes southeast of Ririe, Idaho and 30 minutes east of Idaho Falls, Idaho with close proximity to Jackson Hole, Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. Fly fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River is within a short drive of the property.
