East Dayton Woods

34+ acres of mostly wooded property located on a paved road about a mile and a half southeast of Caro. he forest is a mix of hardwoods, and softwoods, including elm, ash, oaks, cherry, hickory, and apple. About 1200 of Sucker Creek winds its way across the property from southeast to northwest. There currently isn't a bridge in place to cross the creek. The creek provides a good water source for the wildlife using the property including whitetail deer, wild turkey, and small game. The thick bottom lands along the creek are favored bedding areas for the deer. The creek is also a tributary of the Cass River, and it supports a fishable population of bass, pike, and rock bass.
