The Mission Valley is surrounded by the towering Mission Mountains and home to the famous Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi! Tribal population approximately 6000, non-tribal 23,000. The Flathead Reservation was opened to homesteaders in 1940 & is home to ranchers, businesss, Native Americans & more.
