Four Springs is named for the 4 springs on the property, the largest being Buck Hollow Creek. The hollow is named Buck Hollow on the USGS topo maps, and thus the creek is called Buck Hollow Creek. Due to being spring fed, Buck Hollow Creek runs at about the same level all year long.
