There are approximately 250 +/- acres of total cropland. All 250 can be used for crop production, however most years the owners have planted some food for the ducks or during the late spring the water is drained to allow native grasses, smart weed, and moist soil plants to grow. Once the annual migration begins the area can be pumped up to a comfortable waterfowl feeding and hunting level.
