Harrell's Vineyard

Iconic Harrell's Vineyard - Rare Hand-hewn log home on 30.4 acres, built in 1979. This was the country home of writer/photographer Bob Harrell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Dateline Georgia, and his wife Katherine.

The property includes a 3+/- acre muscadine vineyard with 40+/- year old vines (five varieties) and an established blueberry area of approximately 25 mature bushes on about a half-acre. Both have produced consistently for decades. The Harrell family made wine and sold grapes locally, including at the Powers Crossroads Festival.

A 0.6+/- acre spring-fed pond sits on the eastern side of the property.

The two-story log home includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Features include stone and brick chimneys, four fireplaces, exposed ceiling beams, pine flooring, and a metal roof. Chinking is mesh/insulation with concrete.
